January Thoughts

  • Series: General
  • Date: January 09, 2011

The holidays have come and gone, and we are packing up the Christmas decorations. The kids have headed back to school, and David is hard at work on his next Safehold novel, "How Firm A Foundation." Tomorrow we are supposed to have 4 - 6 inches of snow, and all of us Southerners are racing around buying milk and bread and gas. January has begun!

David and I are looking at our schedule this year, and it looks like it is going to be a lot of fun! In March, we are going to traavel to Tuscon for the Tuscon Book Festival. In April, we will be visiting London, England for a couple of book signings and the London Sci-Fi Meeting, and then travelling on to Illustrious (EasterCon) in Birmingham, UK. May will find us at MarCon in Columbus, OH. Then, in June, David will go to New Orleans for the ALA Conference. In July, we will be in Omaha, NE for 5 days at OsFest, and then at home for a couple of months. October will be an exciting month, seeing David on a signing tour to promote his new Young Adult Honorverse series. He will be stopping in Fargo, ND for ValleyCon, and I may get to join him. I've never seen Fargo before!

All in all, a very exciting year ahead of us. Thank you all for your continued support and well-wishes, and may you all have a very Happy New Year!
