Okay. Please. Lay your pitch forks down and take seven steps away from it. Now turn your back on it.

Now we can talk.

I'd like Emily's personal reflective POV, immediately after Honor and Hamish informed her of Honor's pregnancy. In particular, when Honor's empathic sense sensed a spike in Emily's emotions. Not the filtered version, or the version RFC delivered after she'd finally started breathing again. Rather that first, virgin, quite human, raw POV.

NPFP. No pitch forks ... please.

One more, before the culmination of this particular late-night-oil-burning session.

We all know the measure of love that Alfred Harrington has for his daughter. We all know that he can snap a man's neck with his bare hands. We also know, that his is the resorvoir from whence Honor's temper flows.

I don't know if textev bore witness to Alfred's knowing what Pavel Young attempted with his daughter way back when, when she was so young just entering the Navy.

I'd like Alfred's POV when he first learned of Honor's assault. And Allison's when she had to sing to soothe the savage beast.

"No dear, noooo! You can't go around snapping people's necks!"

"YOU WANNA BET!!!"

"Swing low. Sweet chariot. Coming for to ... "

Night-oil still burning, but flickering.

The POV of the entire exchange between top brass and that idiot sent out to handle the investigation of Timothy Meares after he was summarily dismissed by the Salamander in no uncertain terms.

If I'm not mistaken, Honor's duel with Burdette was broadcast live over HD.

I'd like to have the POV of both Honor's masters when they saw her in action.

Additionally, Master Tye's POV of Honor's form when he eventually saw the most repeated HD clip in Honorverse history of her Neu-Stil Handgemenge defense of Benjamin and his family.

I wonder if they correspond.

Aside:
Incidentally, I found this in the archives. It was marvelous reading. For those who haven't seen, it should excellently accompany the morning paper of you coffein-addicts ...

Is there a memorable posts thread somewhere?

Except that Honor has never practiced Neue-Stil Handgemenge Her chosen form of unarmed combat is Coup de Vitesse.

Oops.
Thanks crewdude. That's what happens when I pull an all nighter. I'll blame it on the sleep deprivation.

Textev states that treecats are not interested in human sexuality. That's not to say that they don't notice. I'd like to have the POV of the very first memory singer's description of human sexuality.

"It's really nothing to sing about, except they're a kinky lot ... their veggies have double uses. "

I'd really like more of Sally McBride's POV when she taunted Steilman.

"Come on Stelly baby, let mama have some more fun."

I'd like the POV of Nimitz during each of Honor's duels. Was Nimitz worried?

The POV of Nimitz during Honor's ship battles, locked into his skinsuit, alone in Honor's quarters, ship bucking and heaving.

The POV of an evacuee alone in a pod, not knowing if they'd be rescued.

The POV of Nimitz when Honor explained the plumbing on his skinsuit. "I've gotta put what where?"

Nimiz and Ariel's POV, when their person is madder than Hell at someone, and the treecat's ears are flattened and he's snarling.

"Come on! Lemme at 'em. Lemme at 'em! Just this once!"

You really do need to get more sleep, cthia. ;) I believe that was the redoubtable Bosun Sally McBride who asked Steilman if he remembered the last time he crossed her path (and oh, I also enjoy thinking about that....).

Iris would not have taunted him..she would simply have broken something of his and been done with it (Marines are direct sorts...)

Do pardon me everyone. I really do need some sleep. Serious deadlines to make, and it's going to be a close one. I'll edit it.

Thanks Hutch!

Helga Boltitz' POV as to why she disliked Van Scheldt.
