That's assuming King Rahnyld IV remembers, because I'm not sure Duke Fern will remind him.

Even if he does, I don't think Rahnyld's security is anywhere as good as Cayleb's, Nahrmahn's or Gorjah's; so how long he survives after he sues for peace, whether hours or days then becomes the question; then which of his sons or grandsons is suitable to be king during these perilous times.

I suspect that Rahnyld probably would keep his head if not his crown were he to agree to take Dohlar out of the war. After all, Gorjah and Nahrman weren't very well loved either. Cayleb and company are really not particularly vindictive with defeated foes, knowing as they do that the real enemy is the Temple.
