I'll have to try that. I usually stagger my launches so that a defense zone can't take out missiles from more than one launch.

Me too, but once their systems are down or if they're coming out of a roll, I like sending a triple broadside out. :)

Another reason to stagger your broadsides is that once the a ship system has been taken offline, the steady drip drip drip of damage means they can't repair it to a minimal operational level before the next salvo knocks it back down.

Picked it up earlier today. Took a while to figure a few things out. A trial and error learning process. But once done. I found it very addictive to play. Had to stop to go and stock up my credits in Itunes for the in-game purchases.

Very Very Good game. Have it on my iphone and ipad, at different spots in both with different parts. Can not wait to finish it and see what future upgrades come to the game.

Keep up the good work.

If you are in the manassas sector there is a locked store to keep an eye out for. It has legendary level plasma and metal upgrades for 250000. My ship is six grander now and it's awesome. I wonder if Evergreen will pit us against battleships and dreadnaughts in the future  ?

All,

I also am up to a heavy cruiser, but the app crashed and now when I attempt to start it up, it freezes on the loading screen. It just sits there and the little blue hexagons go around and around.

If I delete the app so I can reinstall it fresh, am I going to have to start over? I haven't spent any money, but there's a lot of equipment I've collected over the last few days I'd hate to have to replace.

Anyone have any advice as to how to fix this?

Same here. Game was working on iPhone this afternoon. Didn't really play but was able ot login and collect metal and plasma. My the time I got home and try to run on iPad Mini. It just hangs on launch after the welcome back message. Went back to iPhone and the same thing happens. Tried quitting the APP and re-launch. Tried deleting the APP and re-install. nothing works.

It's happening to me too. It started earlier today. Does anyone know if the game has to connect to a server to play? If so, it might be a problem on their end. I've been able to get in by killing and restarting the app a few times.

I'm up to the heavy cruiser too, but I've been there for a couple of days, so I'm pretty sure it's not that.

Normally it will save if you are playing through the Game Center. I am not sure if it can be played and saved offline but when that start up issue happens to me any saves or achievements are usually lost except sometimes when I switch between iPad and iPhone. So I will log back into previous device and try to save the game again or failing that I shut off the device with the oldest or unwanted saves. If I am in game I usually drop by Everyplay to make sure I have internet connection before I try to log out. It does seem to be all connection based because I'll get bumped out of a game or from posting replays if I have a lot of upgrades or plasma and metal running at the same time. These are my situations with no hard solutions, sorry
