What does RFC have about winter planets? Sphinx, Gryphon, New Dublin, Inverness, Mathisson's World?

Goibniu is the counter example.

Also, Sphinx isn't a Winter planet. It just happens to have very long seasons, but they seem to be rather well balanced. Manticore, on the other hand, is rather tropical.

Now, it's statistically likely that we'll have more habitable planets that are cold than hot, simply because it's easier for us to stay warm (generate heat) than to stay cool (move heat elsewhere).
