DragonCon was this weekend. David, Tom Pope, and Tim Zahn were nominated for a Dragon Award for Best Military Sci-Fi or Fantasy Novel. The ceremony was a few hours ago, where they won! Alas, I had to leave the con early, so I'm not in a position to post pics right now, but I'll post them as soon as I get them from the crew who were there.

Also, David suffered a pretty bad fall on Thursday, faceplanting into a concrete floor. Feel free to post any encouraging words.

Oh no! I hope he recovers quickly and that he didn't sustain a concussion; those are nasty.

congrats on the win indeed!

I do hope that the fall wasn't serious!! Just the thought of coming down face first makes me cringe inside. Get better v soon!

Nothing from Himself since 30th Aug. Anyone know if he is just busy otherwise, or injured after his fall?

I hope he is getting better. I am hoping to attend one of his west coast book signings next month.
