David does not anticipate starting work on it until 2016.

What about the sequel to A CALL TO DUTY. On one of the pod casts Timothy Zahn said it was almost done. Any Idea when it will be released?

I am under the assumption we will see the next in the timothy zahn honorverse series this year sometime but I have not heard a specific date on that yet.

The Baen publishing schedule is coming up blank for me right now. They usually post a schedule six months ahead.

Probably updating it. Last I looked it listed through September, and the only thing posted (relevant to this discussion) was the trade paper version of A Call to Duty in August?.

Really? The last Honor Harrington book was in 2013. You're saying we can't expect another till at least 2017? That's an awfully long interlude.

Yes, but it's basically a repeat of the delay between At All Costs (November 2005) and Mission of Honor (June 2010). :(

I'm waiting about as impatiently as anybody, but sadly this isn't an unprecedented interval.
