Why would it hit before someone comes into work the next morn, like say 9 A.M. EST, giving ~ 7 more hours 'til ETA. Lest hours of operation begin around 6 or 7A.M. Is Baen the typical type of business?

Of course not. That's what automatic reload extension is for.

I have setup a page monitor here

http://www.changedetection.com/log/baen/2000_log.html

This will email me as soon as it detects a change
Also turned on notifications on my phone and so I’ll know as soon as it happens.

Saves me having to manually check it all the time.

Nah, I've got it in another window auto-reloading a page that currently 404s but shouldn't once the eARC is up. When the window title changes I know it's ready.

Cthia, you got me at like 4 AM (been checking since 3:30) its now 7:30. Not logged into forums on my phone so I could not tell you then...

There is a special circle of hell for you for what you pulled...


Also I hope this doesn't turn into another someone at Baen forgets to hit a button until like 7 PM. Its happened before, shadow of freedom or call to vengeance can't remember which one at this point. Once I pick this book up I will NOT be stopping until its done.
